Daniel Merson is a Sydney-based filmmaker whose work lingers in public space, tracing the cultures and conflicts that emerge on the street. 

Daniel's latest film 'Prayer' 2025 screened at St Kilda Film Festival, First Draft and SeeThru Film Festival. In 2024, Daniel's film 'Stories From The Smoke' was shown as part of 'Homegrown' at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image. In 2020, he was a Finalist for the Young Australian Filmmaker of the Year at the Byron Bay International Film Festival.
